# Configuring Stability Study Builder

The Stability Study Builder allows Spec Data admins to create and manage Stability Studies using a guided UI that makes the process faster and less error-prone. A Vault admin must configure this feature for use.

In order to enable the Stability Study Builder:

1. Navigate to **Admin > Configuration > Page Links** and enable page links.
2. Activate create, edit, and view page links for *Study* and *Study Design*.
3. Activate the following record actions:
    1. Merge Spec Datas on the *Study Design* and *Study* objects
    2. Edit Timepoint Configuration
    3. Copy Timepoint Configuration
    4. Clear Timepoint Configuration on the *Study Design Timepoint* and *Study Timepoint* objects
    5. Generate Lab Study Timepoints on the *Lab Study* object

## Required Permissions

In order to view the Stability Study Builder UI, users must have READ permissions to the following objects:

* *Lab Study Design*
* *Lab Study Design Timepoint*
* *Lab Storage Condition*
* *Sample Definition*
* *Sample Plan*
* *Spec Data*
* *Spec Data Sample Action*
* *Test Definition*
* *Unit of Measure*
* *Lab Study*
* *Lab Study Timepoint*
* *Spec Execution*
* *Spec Execution Sample Action*
* *Criteria Evaluation*
* *Inventory Summary*

Additionally, the following permissions are required to complete their respective actions:
