The Design Data Builder feature allows Spec Data Admins to create and manage Spec Data and Test Definitions using a UI that makes the process faster and less error-prone. A Vault Admin must configure this feature for use.
In order to enable Design Data Builder:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Page Links and set Status to Active for the following Pages:
- Spec Data Create Redirect
- Spec Data Edit Redirect
- Spec Data View Redirect
- Test Definition Create Redirect
- Test Definition Edit Redirect
- Test Definition View Redirect
- Grant View permission for the Test Definition Builder and Spec Data Builder page to the necessary permission set(s).

Note: This feature does not respect Atomic Security for the Spec Data or Test Definition objects. If fields are hidden via Atomic Security, Test Definitions or Spec Data may not load properly.
