If configured, users with the proper permissions can create Ad Hoc Criteria using a dedicated application section on applicable Spec Execution records, allowing them to create custom specification criteria that is not associated with any design data as needed for one-off test requests.
Creating Ad Hoc Criteria
To create Ad Hoc Criteria:
- Navigate to the Ad Hoc Criteria section of the relevant Spec Execution record.
- Click Edit.
- In the resulting dialog, select a Test.
- Select a Result.
- Click + Create. This opens the Ad Hoc Criteria creation dialog.
- Enter a Rule.
- Select an Indication.
- Select one or more Purposes.
- Enter a Criteria Description.
- Select a Rounding Rule and Precision.
- Click Save.
After creating an Ad Hoc Criteria, you can edit or delete it from the Spec Data’s Ad Hoc Criteria section as long as the Lab Test to which it applies has not been started.
Note: You can only add Ad Hoc Criteria to Spec Executions of the Batch Release or Non-Routine object type.
